Sinuk Kang earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Communication at the State University of New York at Buffalo, both M.A. in Broadcasting, Telecommunication, Mass Media and B.A. in Radio, Television, and Film from Temple University. He also completed Ph.D. coursework in Communication at Rutgers University. His research interests include credibility assessments in interpersonal, mediated, and cross-cultural contexts. His recent research is focused on the use of nonverbal and visual elements in media. He is also a research affiliate of Communication Science Center at SUNY at Buffalo.

Currently, Dr. Kang teaches courses in into to communication technology, into mass communication, communication theory, communication research, interpersonal communication, video field production, and advanced digital video editing.

In his free time, he enjoys taking photos, playing table tennis, watching movies and Korean dramas, and spends time with his two daughters, Elina and Katie. He likes to observe every moment of our life that makes us connected to one another and learns to enjoy it.
