Earth science or earth system science is the study of Earth as an interconnected dynamic system made up of (atmosphere, hydrosphere, and solid earth) with a focus on its properties, structure, and systems through the lens of physical sciences and the effect humans can have on it.
This was the last total solar eclipse in the contiguous United States until 2044. It was a partial (94%) eclipse in Westfield, and a total eclipse in northern New England and north/west New York.
