Alexandria Zabik Maki

Lexie has worked for nearly ten years in the HR field. She is excited to be part of HR team here at Westfield State and taking part to enhance the employee experience.  Prior to Westfield State University she worked for Genesis Healthcare in Westfield, MA managing their entire HR department and all the fields within it. As a one person department she has experience in all generalist field of HR from recruiting to benefits to employment processing and then some. She has served as a partner and problem-solver to employees at each stage of the employee lifecycle. She received her master's degree in business administration from Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA.

In addition to serving as a HR professional, Lexie is a licensed horseback riding instructor and barn manager at A.J. Stables in Westfield, MA as well as a parent to two young children.
