Christopher Kudlac
Biography
Professor Kudlac's areas of instruction include research methods, crime and the media, sports and crime and religion and crime. He has written a variety of articles and a book entitled Public Executions: The Media and Death Penalty (Praeger Publishing, 2007) on public opinion concerning capital punishment and the media's coverage of the death penalty. Before coming to Westfield, he taught at Lehman College in New York City and the University of Hartford. He continues to work as a jury consultant on a variety of civil and criminal cases. Professor Kudlac is an active member of both the American Society of Criminology and American Sociology Association. His areas of interest include crime and the media, high profile crimes, capital punishment, religion and crime, and police discretion.
