Responsibilities include the following:
- Uphold the WSU Honors Program Pillars
- Meet weekly with Honors Program Director or Assistant Director
- Manage the Honors Program social media accounts, including: Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Post account updates regularly and respond to messages received in each account
- Serve on the Student Honors Association (SHA) in the role of Publicist in order to stay well-informed on planned social events, academic workshops, and service events throughout the semester
- Collaborate with the Honors Program Administrative Assistant to create and/or share flyers, posts, pictures, etc. over social media in a timely manner
- Attend social, academic, and service events (when possible given scheduling) to document events
- Compile an electronic portfolio of internship activities for evaluation
- Serve as a guide for future interns offering tips, best practices, and sharing account information (including passwords) to foster smooth transition

- Organize complementary events to promote physical/mental wellness, life skills, and career development in the Honors LLC
- Coordinate with Res Life leadership and LLC Resident Assistants on co-sponsored programming

- Serve as a guide for future interns offering tips, best practices, and sharing any account information (including passwords) to foster smooth transition

Student Peer Mentor, Honors Discovery Seminar
Responsibilities include the following:
- Uphold the WSU Honors Program Pillars
- Meet weekly with the Instructor of the Honors Discovery Seminar
- Attend one (assigned) section of HNRS0101 weekly
- Share contact information and availability with students in your mentoring group. This should include time students could meet with you outside of class each week as needed.
- Lead one or more classroom activities/discussions as designated by the Instructor
- Compile an electronic portfolio of internship activities for evaluation
- Serve as a guide for future interns offering tips, best practices, and sharing any account information (including passwords) to foster smooth transition
To be eligible for this position, you must:
