Residence Hall History
Lammers Hall was opened in 1972. It is named for Tess Lammers, faculty member and administrator at Westfield State University from the 1920's to the 1960's.
In 1996, a renovation of Lammers Hall created eleven new student bedrooms and resulted in locating the Career Services and Counseling Center offices in the A-1 section of the hall.
Additional renovations in 2002 and 2003 included fire suppression system upgrades, carpeting, lighting, and a complete remodeling of the Main Lobby.
